Wizard World Comic Con, Fun For All

If you have never been to a Comic-Con put on by the fine people at Wizard World then you are missing out. I had the pleasure to be at the Dome at America’s Center for Wizard World St. Louis on Saturday. The fun starts as soon as you enter with a live band playing you in.

From there you can find everything from gaming to
your favorite artist and more! There is truly something for every member of the family to do or even be a part of.
You want to see Sean Astin (“The Lord of the Rings”) or Ernie Hudson (“Ghostbusters”), Wizard World has them.
Stargazing not your thing? That's ok because they have an entire Anime Arena set up where you can sit and enjoy manga. Into collecting? Then Wizard World is the place for you, comic books, movie posters, toys of all kinds and more can be found in the vendor section. Heck, I even picked up a handcrafted wand holder for the Harry Potter wands I collect.
Artists such as Phil Ortiz from the Simpsons, Shawn Cross ( Cyanide and Happiness) and many more are set up and showing off their skills. Panels and workshops are going on throughout the day for you to join in on.
In my humble opinion, the best part is the cosplay. People of all ages dress up as their favorite hero or villain and can just let loose. You can see the Doctor down one aisle and Beetle Juice down the next, all happy to snap a picture with you. Some of the fine folks I ran into are in the gallery below.

In short, get yourself to a Wizard World con and you will be in for some real fun!
