The Boys season 2 gets a blood-soaked first look
Eric Kripke is a name familiar to TV genre fans. As a creator and showrunner, he launched The CW’s “Supernatural” and ran it for its first five seasons, he created NBC’s underrated historical drama “Timeless,” and now he’s the showrunner for Amazon Prime Video’s breakout hit “The Boys”.
Today, he’s released a teaser behind-the-scenes photo for the upcoming second season of the series which has begun production ahead of airing next year. The photo features Kripke surrounded by Kimiko, Frenchie, Hughie, and Mother’s Milk covered in blood and gesturing to the camera.
Kripke says it’s the world’s first photo from the second season which has “You’re the Worst” actress Aya Cash joining the cast as Stormfront. Seth Rogen also serves as executive producer on the show which stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, and Elisabeth Shue.
