It’s official, original “Jurassic Park” actors Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum are set to join Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the Colin Trevorrow-directed third “Jurassic World” film at Universal Pictures.

Dern confirmed her participation in the film, as well as Neill’s and Goldblum’s, at a Collider screening tonight of the Battle at Big Rock eight-minute short film that Trevorrow directed.

The previous film, the J.A. Bayona-directed “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” ended with the dinosaurs finding their way off the island and into civilization where they now live among us, so story wise the film has plenty of avenues to explore.

Emily Carmichael and Trevorrow penned the script, Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow return to be executive producers, while Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are producing. Production starts early next year ahead of a Summer 2021 release.
