Production hasn’t even begun on the third season, but FX has handed out a fourth season renewal order for the Donald Glover, Lakeith Stanfield, Brian Tyree Henry and Zazie Beetz-led series “Atlanta”.

Both seasons will consist of eight episodes each and be shot back-to-back starting in Spring 2020. Given those dates, don’t expect the third season to air until late 2020 or early 2021. The first season debuted in September 2016 while the second season hit March 2018.

All the show’s stars have found themselves increasingly in demand on various projects in the past few years with the four faces all popping up regularly in movies. The series has won five Emmys out of 22 nominations over two seasons so far.
